Range of application for parallel heating cables
Thanks to the special design of the parallel heating cable temperatures can be kept steady independently from the ambient temperature a lot more precise. This is important when, for important, the viscosity of lubricants or the state of aggregation of substances need to be ensured.
Functionality
Inside of the Hemstedt parallel heating cable, two isolated conductors are set parallel to each other. These are wrapped by a heating mesh. Periodically, the conductors are stripped, thus creating the heating effect. The advantage: Every heating zone has the same temperature across the entire length.
Simple installation
The Hemstedt parallel heating cable has a round profile, keeping installation flexible. That way, overlaps or crossings at flanges, armatures or valves can be avoided with ease.
Flexible installation
The parallel heating cables are suitable for when higher or consistent temperatures are needed, but cables have to be assembled on site.
Economically viable
The Hemstedt parallel heating cable has a low inrush current than, for example, self-regulating heating tapes. That way, the parallel heating cables can be operated with fewer electric circuits and smaller circuit breakers.
